    Working with Kathleen from Direct Cabinet Sales was horrific. She was recommended by the contractor working for us at the time. She was unprofessional and flighty from the initial meeting. I gathered that she was used to dealing with clients that hang on her every word and need direction when remodeling rooms. I brought a family member into her showroom and our basic questions about the cabinets that she sells were answered curtly. She markets herself as a designer when clearly, she is nothing more than a business woman who sells cabinets. Her designs had several errors that were evident even to a lay person. I explained to our contractor about my meeting with her and he begged me to continue working with her claiming that she was probably having a bad day. Against our better judgement, we decided to use her because we trusted our contractor at the time. We should have trusted our gut instincts. Two of our cabinets were delivered without inserts for glass. She tried to pull a fast one claiming that we never ordered them for glass inserts. She then told our contractor that we would have to pay an extra $1000 if we wanted them! Her unprofessionalism was evident once again because she ignorantly must have forgotten that we had a copy of the original designs that included cabinets with doors for inserts. When she realized that we were going to persist on this matter, she relented then purposely held back from ordering the initial cabinet doors that she was supposed to have ordered. This occurred in August We were extremely patient but had gotten very frustrated when we still hadn’t received them by early December. When prodded about why we still hadn’t received them, she claimed the Thanksgiving holiday weekend was the reason for delay. Again, this showed a shady and ignorant “businesswoman; had she ordered them at the time her mistake was noted, they would have been ordered much sooner than Thanksgiving. Needless to say, she will never receive our business again.
